Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, the newest adventures in the Pokémon series, are coming to the Nintendo Switch on Nov. 18. With these new titles, the Pokémon series takes a new evolutionary step, allowing you to freely explore a vibrant open world.

The three Pokémon you can choose from at the beginning are Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly. How do you meet these three Pokémon, and what kind of Pokémon are they?

You'll meet Koraidon in Pokémon Scarlet and Miraidon in Pokémon Violet. These legendary Pokémon, said to possess extraordinary powers, are shrouded in mystery....

Your good friend Nemona is cheerful, energetic, and fond of Pokémon battles! With her experience as a Pokémon Trainer, she'll be able to assist you on your adventure.

In Pokémon Scarlet, you'll meet Professor Sada, while in Pokémon Violet, you'll meet Professor Turo. They are both researching certain events that are said to have taken place in the area....

At the beginning of your adventure, you'll wear a different outfit in Pokémon Scarlet than in Pokémon Violet. Who knows what kind of story awaits you.
